Ramtek
Ramtek is a small town, situated at a distance of approximately 42 km to the northeast of the Nagpur city of Maharashtra. It falls under the Nagpur district and is held in high regard by the Hindus. This is because this town is believed to be associated with Lord Rama. There is hill situated near Ramtek, known as the Ramgiri Hill. The hill houses a historical temple of Lord Rama, which is said to be more than 600 years old., this temple has greatly added to the travel attraction of the city.

The major attractions of Ramtek comprise of the 27 Brahmanical style temple that have been constructed at top of the hill. Amongst them is the Lakshmana Temple, which dates back to as far back as 1400 AD

Khindsi Lake
Located just 5 kms from Ramtek, this beautiful lake, surrounded on all sides by verdant forests, is a must-see. Trekking aside, the big attraction here is water sports. Choose from motor boats, pedal boats, rowing boats or even water scooters. There's really no beter way to take in the scenic beauty of the place.

Dragon Palace
Dragon Palace Temple is a Buddhist temple, situated in Kamptee, a satellite township of Nagpur district. It is dedicated to Lord Buddha and boasts of striking architecture and picturesque landscape. The temple was founded by Mother Noriko Ogawa Society of Japan, in association with Ms Sulekha Kumbhare, the MLA and Minister of State of Water and Sanitation. Chikhaldara: -
This is the place where Bheema killed the villainous Heechaka in a bout & threw him in to the valley. It came to be known as Heechakadara-chilkhaldara is corruption. The only hill resort in the vidharbha region it has the added distention of being the only coffee growing area in Maharashtra It abound in wildlife.

 NAGPUR
This is the headquarter of the Nagpur division and district. It is situated on Central railway. The present city of Nagpur was founded at the beginning of the 18th century by the Gond Raja Bakht Buland. The city grew with the growth of the Bohnsla Kingdom and was considerably improved by the Rajas of that dynasty. This is second capital of Maharashtra and also known as orange city.

 NAWEGAON BANDH

There is a fort said to have been built by the Bhonslas with brick walls.

 CHIKHALDARA
TVidarbha's only hill station. About 240 Km from Nagpur. Situated on the ranges of Satpura at a height if 1118 mtrs, it is Maharastra's only coffee growing area. According to legend Bhima killed Kichak here and threw him in the valley so this place came to be known Kichakdara, and later Chikhaldara. Tourist Places: Bhimkund, Nehru Vanaspati Udyan, Adivasi museum, Sunset Point,Gavilgad Fort, Semadoh & Shakkar tanks, Shiv Temple. Excursions: Narnala fort, Melghat Tiger Project.
